OCTOBER 2017 - FIRST FRIDAY- ABBY ANDRE

I am in awe of the world around me: both our own power and the undeniable strength of the natural world. Art is my mirror for what I see and I use it to help me understand how we interact with our surroundings.

Most of my work focuses on nature, how we push it and how it pushes back. My home in Denver Colorado represents the relationship between man and the physical world acutely: how do we move into the mountains, the sea and the sky without invading it?

I work primarily in acrylic and pencil, and in addition to the pieces available through the salon, I do commissions and can discuss larger scale prints and originals on a case by case basis. For more information, please email me at abby@abbyandre.com, visit abbyandre.com and follow me on instagram at https://www.instagram.com/s titchoflightning/.
